A ski week, properly planned
The best weeks in the mountains are decided in September.
Christmas and February are the most requested weeks in the Alps, and the best chalets are spoken for long before the first snow. The first rule is simple: decide early, even if details change later.
The second is to think about arrival. Altiports and helicopter transfers turn a long valley drive into a few minutes, but they depend on weather and slots. A good plan always has a calm alternative.
Then the house itself: a chef who knows the children’s tastes, ski equipment fitted before you arrive, instructors who speak your language, a table held for New Year’s Eve.
None of it is complicated. All of it is easier when one person holds the whole picture.
